Where I knock a star off on my rating for the memoir is threefold: 1) there are grammatical errors that an editor should've fixed, 2) my Kindle version had some pretty sloppy formatting issues, and 3) the book moves forward in a pretty linear manner, with /5().

Off the Rails recounts some of his favorite trips across Europe, Australia, Asia, and the United States, each journey bringing readers not only to a different place but to a different time, from his honeymoon on the Trans-Siberian Express (in a four-person compartment!), to a winding journey from Russia to Turkey during the last summer of /5(10).

If you are a fan of Randy Rhoads, or the "Blizzard of Ozz," this is a must read. Rudy Sarzo isn't an author and the stories sometimes go "off the rails" themselves, however, he provides a unique insight that has been missing from the legend of this guitar hero. The stories shared in this book are personal, enjoyable, and are easy to relate to.4/5.
